Voyage autour du Monde En 80 Jours,
D'apres Jules Verne, Jeu amusant et instructif (ca. 1890-1900)
No. 323

There is no manufacturer mentiond on the board, the box, or the instructions.
None of the websites I have consulted and I link to below give a publisher or manufacturer name either.
Even the auction of the contents of the Eric Weisenburg collection do not mention a publisher.

Image above from here.

Game contents:

  • Box: 34.5 x 26.3 x 4.3 cm (my actual box) (one site says 39x27cm)
  • Board: 48.5 x 55.5cm (folded in 4)
  • Instructions, 3 pages
  • 5 figures (Fogg, Passepartout, Aouda, Fix(?), & ?)
  • Tokens, numbered 1 and 2 (possibly of bone or glass)
  • cotton bag (for money or other pieces)
  • 1 or 2 small boxes (again for money or other pieces)
  • dice x 2 (one with a red 1 dot, and the other with a blue 1 dot)
  • Dice cup

The image from giochidelloca (see below) shows the 5 figures:

The game pieces, although 3 dimensional standing figures, are more flat than those in the Tour Du Monde game.

The box lid in the lower right corner, has printed No. 323

Game example

This example of the game, has had some decorative, period, tape added to the border of the box lid. It was put on very well, with mitred corners. I am not sure why it was added, because the corner between the top and the side was NOT covered, and it does not reinforce it.
The box lid is very clean and clear.

Below is the store sticker on the bottom of the box. It appears to be 2 labels on top of each other,

I cannot make out much.. Can anyone help here?

"...EGLOIS" "successor"(?) "...UL DES HALLE..."

Ed Note:
During my research to update my page, I have found other sites that show and describe this game. None of the sites mentions a publisher/manufacturer.
I list the sites here, and copy the images to make sure they are preserved. For each set of photos, I will give credit from where I retrieved them.

The image is not clear enough to see if it is the same board as the french version!

The sale included german AND french instructions

A good view of the "money" tokens (1's and 2's)

AND in this image we can see the 7 character pieces that were part of this auction. (One poor fellow has lost his head!)
The 2 figures on the right, appear to be smaller, and are not originaly part of the game (the left 5 pieces are the originals).
