Alternate English Titles:

    The Hunt for the Meteor

IMPORTANT: The original novel as it was printed in 1908 by Hetzel, was altered from the original story written by Jules Verne, by his son Michel Verne. The novel was expanded from 17 chapters to 21 chapters, and a major new character was added, Zéphyrin Xirdal. Hetzel was aware of these changes.

The novel as Jules Verne had written it, was finally published by the Société Jules Verne in 1986.
